Street lighting has a direct impact on biodiversity. Our solutions are eco-designed to reduce light pollution and preserve the nocturnal ecosystem. By thinking more finely and adapting lighting, we reduce light pollution and ensure that insects and other nocturnal animals do not see their cycle disrupted.

The analysis capabilities of KARA modules, applied to intelligent lighting, also enable other services relating to the mobility of people moving through streets. Functions for counting and detecting the presence, or absence, of objects in predefined locations enable sophisticated services to be offered for managing the flow of passers-by, cyclists and vehicles, as well as parking assistance services. This makes it possible to effectively reduce the congestion we encounter every day in most cities, and to optimize the activities on offer according to people's actual presence.

Thanks to its interoperable “e-Klairage” supervision platform, Kawantech enables you to retrieve all relevant operating and maintenance data from luminaire modules and drivers, and to remotely operate the modules. High-performance telemetry functions (consumption measurements, number of detections, application data), remote diagnostics (various alarms/alerts, failure and/or malfunction notifications, alerts) and remote management (remote parameterization and configuration of modules, luminaires and on-board applications) offer ease of use and reduced maintenance costs.

Placed at a height (6-8 meters) above vehicles on the road, our Kara modules will be able to detect events that will remain hidden until the last moment from the sophisticated detection systems embedded in the vehicles on our roads today. If necessary, Kara sensors can warn connected vehicles before their own detection systems can do so. This will considerably reduce the risk of accidents.
